Bidding process on the next level
Challenge
The Human Resources team of a multinational company decided to conduct a workshop aiming to align all RH leaders in 8 countries with the corporate HR Transformation protocol and create a joint annual calendar, with standard key regional processes to promote efficiency of the work, and the resources and replying time to in-house clients optimization.
Solution
We have co-created the three-day workshop with two regions’ HR leaders. Fifteen HR regional leaders took part in the workshop, including the HR national head, a representative from the benefit, compensation, organization development and systems for HR leaders. The importance of corporate communication, regional and the system and processes comprehension was crucial for the team to examine the main factors for becoming a high-performance organization.
We have defined eleven processes to be the scope of the team’s work. Each country has outlined its own calendar with the processes, bringing understanding about the system as a whole. We have aligned the corporate vision of HR Transformation, applied the Lean tools to use the best resources without waste, and designed the annual calendar of future processes. We have built a standard proceedings plan in synergy with the long-term new systems enforcing plan.
Result
The regional HR leaders felt engaged with the HR transformation vision of the future, as they co-created the regional joint calendar. The eleven processes had many interconnections between the regions and the corporation, and the transparency of the countries’ requirements during the discussions allowed the creation of a support net among them. This net was enhanced by the diversity of the groups’ specialists and additional experiences in the examined processes. The concept of the net is one of the elements that favor complex problem resolution.
